Our little flock knows that the Lord is our Shepherd.
The word “pastor” comes from the Latin for “shepherd,” and Jesus refers to Himself as the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep (Joh 10:11), which He did on the cross at Calvary. He had the power to lay down His life and the power to take it up again (Joh 10:18) in His resurrection. His sheep hear His voice, and He gives them eternal life (Joh 10:27-28).
Peter also refers to Christ as the Chief Shepherd who will reward those shepherds who faithfully tend the local flock (1Pe 5:2-4). Pastor Alan Woods is serving us in that role.
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God and realizes that we are under shepherds serving the Chief Shepherd, Christ Jesus.
We have devoted ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Gospel. Our desire and goal is to equip the Saints for the work of the Gospel which leads to Spiritual Transformation and Maturity in Christ Jesus.
